   Name: Dana S.
   Positions: President, Treasurer
   Why: I believe I am the best fit for the role of President because I am dedicated to the long-term success of Fandom Rocks. My goal is to bring in as many fans as possible to increase the size and energy of this organization. The lifespan of a group like Fandom Rocks is determined by the people who join you and are enthusiastic about carrying it onward. Those are the people I want to work with and pass the torch to.

   I believe I am also the best fit for the role of Treasurer. In the past campaigns, I have managed the Paypal account, bank account, check writing, and reports. I am most familiar with the various fees we have had to pay out of pocket for our NFP efforts.

   Most importantly, I believe I can perform the duties of these roles with excellence when the support of the rest of the Fandom Rocks community.

   Name: Brande R.
   Positions: President, President-Elect
   Why: I believe that I would serve well in either the role of President or President-Elect because many of the duties are duties I have previously performed or assisted in performing in previous campaigns.

   I want to see Fandom Rocks succeed and grow, as an organization and a community. I want to get more fans involved in the efforts of Fandom Rocks and I’m interested in hearing from our members on how to accomplish our goals.

   I work with fundraising groups professionally, and often have to work in teams. I think as President or President-Elect, I can work with all the members of the board to help keep Fandom Rocks on track.

   Name: Sandi C.
   Position: Secretary
   Why: I would love the opportunity to serve as Secretary because I believe strongly in the work that Fandom Rocks is doing and I would love to be able to help out as it grows. I love that we have the chance to help out worthy causes and show that there is more to “fandom” than what many people perceive. The energy, enthusiasm, and generosity that lives in fandom is a powerful force.

   I’ve served on the Board of Directors which handles the fan-based charity work for Josh Groban and after just a few short years we’re coming up on our first million dollars donated to help children in need. I’ve done volunteer work in my community for numerous organizations. I’ve worked in the clerical field for years, and am familiar with secretarial duties and responsibilities.

   If given the opportunity to serve, I will be totally committed to giving my all to help Fandom Rocks grow and continue the wonderful work that’s already been done. I believe the sky is the limit if we all get involved.

   i would like to second the nomination of geminilove_ca (Brande R.) i have been impressed with her professionalism and enthusiasm, and i believe she would do an excellent job in either capacity as President or President-Elect.

   Name: Monica B.
   Position: marketing advisor, regional advisor
   Why: I believe I’m best suited to the position of marketing advisor because I have experience in my professional life with marketing, and within fandom with fundraising, organizing, brainstorming and spreading the word about various fan projects. I’ve run Operation: Winchester for the past year, and served as organizer and fundraiser for the Write No Evil/Please Do Feed the Writers project.

   I feel I’m qualified to be a regional advisor because of my experience and dedication to good works within fandom.

   Why: Well, i’ve been sorta part of certain events/random stuff with Brande and after that, i wanted to start a Street Team from Fandom Rocks.

   Hi Elisabeth!

   We don’t have Street Team positions, but we do have Regional Advisor positions. We envision those folks keeping tabs on the Supernatural fandom in the local area/state/country. If this is something you are interested in, we are glad to have you. Right now I believe we have just one other Regional Advisor – in Canada – so it would be great to have a few more.

   I would like to submit my nomination for myself as Regional Advisor for San Antonio, Texas and the Texas area at large. I feel I would be great asset to this organization not only because I am already familiar with it but I have experience working in the non profit industry raising money, recruiting people to participate and soliciting donations, etc. I would like to put my skills to use toward something I love and have such a passion about – helping people and Supernatural!
